HEAVEN I would include a link but she just gave me the test as her entry and no link (If you have a link I can put it in)
I debated wether to include this piece, because it was so short, and so simple, but then I realized that was what I liked about it. Simple and eloquent. She manages to pull off a difficult, and controversial subject and make it connect. It's surprisingly relatable and introspective. You should also visit her page if you're interested in her beautiful visual art too.

Also an up and coming traditional artist.

SentienceI was on my death bed. It had been 97 years since the date of my birth, and now I was only moments away from the end. I had laughed, played, worked, and loved. It was complete, my life. I closed my eyes, let out my final breath, and fell into a strange light.
I awoke to see a seemingly endless room that had the appearance of the sky. I looked around, confused, dazed, bodyless; and then it all came back. I regained the memories from other past lives of mine. There were four in total, including the one I had just spent as a human. It then hit me that it was almost time to choose another life. Although, this time, it felt different.
“It feels strange, doesn’t it?” a voice said. I looked up and saw the silhouette of a middle aged man.
“God?” I asked.
“Yes. It’s nice to see you again John. It has been ninety-seven Earth years after all,” He stated.
“God, if I’m here, then that means it’s time to choose another world to live i

The WatcherHe is there, always. Watching, gazing, observing silently, but never seen. Perhaps he had a name once. If he did, it is long since forgotten. He takes no part in the scenes that play out before him, never lets on that he's there, yet he is. He weaves between the trees, many years of evasion keeping his disturbance to little more than a feather, falling in the breeze. A leaf, swaying, silently giving up its struggle to hang on and floating to the earth below. Never a noise.
Always falling.
He hears them, hears their cries for help. Hears them plead, sees them reach to him, their eyes revealing him, a last, desperate, hope as the last moments of their lives fade to oblivion.
He does not move.
He can do nothing against these forces, nothing at all. He cannot help these strangers, these people he doesn't know, whose cries tear open the night. He can't move, paralyzed by the screams and sobs of  those foolish, innocent souls who fall to them.
The forest is not a place for those w

For keeping just enough mystery to keep us reading, while not quite loosing readers altogether, and your proffessional sounding word choice.

You had me from the very start. The second I started reading this, I had no doubts I would like it. Your language is really powerful.

:iconfynns23: For amazing descriptions, creating a clearly visable, if slightly lurid, setting and mood, and a wonderfully creative idea.
The Mental ImprisonmentThe manicured nails of the Wealthy Man rattled against the glass table. His polished shoes tapped the marble floor quite softly, but it still loudly echoed throughout the vast and empty building.
'Oh, if only this was real,' the Wealthy Man thought. 'If only.'
There was a distant sound of a shattered window, and later the sad, shrill screaming of an old alarm, as if it was slowly and painfully dying.
But the Wealthy Man didn't care. He was thinking. Thinking. About reality, of course. He sighed. At the moment, reality was inaccessible. In fact, everything was inaccessible, everything but one thing: his mind. But that meant that everything was accessible. Everything but reality.
After a brief period of unnerving silence he heard a faint and mysterious whir over the crying of the alarm and stopped all motion. The rattling of the fingernails. The tapping of the shoes. Even the once howling air seemed to be reticent. All that was to be heard was the powerful whir of the yet to be seen fate
